1. Data controller

Fluidty (“Fluidty”) is the trade name of the service operated in Costa Rica. As of the publication date of this policy the operation is not incorporated as a corporation; should that change, the update will be reflected in this document (see “Last updated”).

For any question about this policy or about the processing of your personal data, you can write to [email protected].

2. Legal framework

This policy is issued under Costa Rica's Ley 8968, “Protección de la Persona frente al tratamiento de sus datos personales”, and its regulations. Fluidty processes personal data in accordance with that law and the purposes described in this document.

3. Data we collect

This site is informational and collects only the data described below:

  • Demo form: name, email address, business type and message. This data is delivered by email to the Fluidty team to answer your request and is not stored in a site database.
  • Technical logs: IP address, user agent, date and time, and the page requested. They are generated automatically when you visit the site and are used to operate and protect the service.
  • Cookies and analytics: Google Analytics 4 only runs if you accept measurement in the consent banner; if you decline, analytics stays off. The banner lets you accept or decline, and your decision is stored in your browser so it is respected on later visits.

4. Purposes

  • Answer the requests sent through the demo form, including follow-up contact.
  • Operate, maintain and protect the site against abuse or security incidents.
  • Measure site usage through Google Analytics 4, only when you accept measurement.

5. Your rights as a data subject

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection at any time, and request information about the use of your data, by writing to [email protected]. Fluidty will answer each request within the periods set by Ley 8968.

6. Retention and no transfer

Form data is kept in the email inbox for the time needed to answer the request. Technical logs are kept for limited periods for security and operations.

Personal data is never sold or transferred to third parties for advertising, and it is not used to build advertising profiles.

7. Security

Fluidty applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information, including encryption of data. No internet transmission is completely infallible; if you detect an incident you can write to [email protected].

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent Costa Rican courts, without prejudice to the rights that Ley 8968 grants to data subjects.

9. Changes to this policy

Fluidty may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The current version is published on this page with its “Last updated” date; relevant changes will be announced on the site.
